It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Vandervies (Rocky Mountain House, Alberta), who passed away on November 7, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Sietske Vandervies and Klass Vandervies; his child Pearl; his grandchildren, Ken Vandervies (Jody), Sylvia Bodnar (Tom) and Margaret Coderre (Ray); his great grandchildren, Calvin (Emma), Dena, Heather (Kyle) and Richard (Allison); his siblings, Aurora and Klaas (Maaike); his siblings-in-law, Aukke and Audrey; and also Abe.
