He was predeceased by: his father Jim. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Ken, Jennifer, Hunter, Emily, Pam, Leslie (James), David, James (Tanya), Cindy, Darren, Hugh and Dustin; his sister Mary Ellen (Larry); and his sisters-in-law, Goldie and Mary. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Floyd's memory to STARS Air Ambulance, or the Red Deer Hospice Society.
