We are sad to announce that, on September 15, 2021, at the age of 84, Gerda Mercia (Rocky Mountain House, Alberta) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerda Mercia to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore (Sam); her son David; and her parents, Frieda Schultz and Reinhold Schultz. She is survived by: her brother Bernhard Schultz (Rosel); her nephews, Michael and Oliver Schultz; her son Sandy Mercia (Lori); her grandchildren, Ashley Mercia, Sheldon Mercia (Olivia), Ava, Natalee Mercia and Mandy Mercia; and her great grandchildren, Hazel Mercia, Chelsea Witthuhn (Addison), Aubrey, Porter Witthuhn, Samantha Smith (Mitchall), Cason and Blayke Smith. She is also survived by many friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gerda's name to the Red Deer Hospice Society.
