She was predeceased by: her husband Gerry Gibson; her parents, Betty Falt and Benny Falt; and her siblings-in-law, David Gibson, Julian Sarnecki and Susan Emmens.

She is survived by: her siblings, Cameron and Iona; her siblings-in-law, Maggie, Jim and Judy; her daughters, Tara Gibson and Kyla West (Bartley); and her grandchildren, Corbin, Addison and Ashlyn.

Memorial donations in Heather's name may be made to the Rocky Mountain House Health Care Centre Dialysis Unit.
