It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mervyn Gusek (Rocky Mountain House, Alberta), who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mothers, Winifred (Gustav Gusek) and Alta; his sister Janet McLean; his brothers-in-law, Peter McLean, Ted Cumberland and Floyd Booth; and his daughter-in-law Elaine Beach-Gusek.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Everett and Shannon (Jeff); his stepsons, Greg (Mary Jean), Ted and Brad (Colleen); his grandchildren, Scott (Arnika), Lacey (Miles), Mitchel, Darcy (Lyndi), Charly and Sarah; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor, Milissa, Donna, Mathew, Hanna, Ethan and Brandy; his great grandchildren, Taryn, Bentley, Eva, Julia, Emily, Penny, Maverick and Everly; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Diane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the West Haven Cemetery.
