He was predeceased by: his mothers, Winifred (Gustav Gusek) and Alta; his sister Janet McLean; his brothers-in-law, Peter McLean, Ted Cumberland and Floyd Booth; and his daughter-in-law Elaine Beach-Gusek.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Everett and Shannon (Jeff); his stepsons, Greg (Mary Jean), Ted and Brad (Colleen); his grandchildren, Scott (Arnika), Lacey (Miles), Mitchel, Darcy (Lyndi), Charly and Sarah; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor, Milissa, Donna, Mathew, Hanna, Ethan and Brandy; his great grandchildren, Taryn, Bentley, Eva, Julia, Emily, Penny, Maverick and Everly; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Diane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
