As Willem departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Willem. Though Willem may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sjouktje Prins and Evert Prins; his wife Mae; and his son-in-law Rob. He is survived by: his siblings, Theresa, Elsie and Dick; and his children, Judy (Dick), Marvin (Judy), Ron (Kelly) and Wanita. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church.
