With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ryan Lance Basnett (Rycroft, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather John Basnett; his daughter Bree-Ann Basnett; his grandmothers, Wendie Basnett and Hazel Bean (Baldry); and his uncles, Shannon, Jackie Bean and Donnie Velichka.
He is survived by: his parents, Teri Basnett and Slade Bean; his wife Tina; his children, Jordyn, John, Keith and Cheyanne Basnett; his stepfathers, Lawrance Bjornson and Gerald Cox; his siblings, Dustin Bjornson (Brittany), Candice Bjornson (Mike) and Jacqueline Bean; his uncle Alan Basnett; his aunts, Bridget Basnett, Lucille Richardson (Merle) and Glee Velichka; his in-laws, Liz and Tony Feltham; and his siblings' children, Alanna, Presley, Gwendolyn, Madison, Zoey, Luna, Kashtyn, Greyson, Ryker, Brody, Lincoln, Westen and Theodore. He is also survived by Numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rycroft Ag Centre (11055 PTH, Rycroft, AB T0H3A0).
