We bid farewell to Avery Quinney of Saddle Lake, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2025 at the age of 49. Avery touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Quinney; his brother George Whiskeyjack Jr.; his grandparents, Edna, Floyd Quinney, Stanley and Ruby Redcrow; his uncle Adriene Redcrow Sr.; his aunts, Madeline and Myrtice Redcrow; and his cousins, Adrian Redcrow Jr., Jeremy Quinney, Byron Hunter, Solomon, Douglas and Steven Quinney.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Delver; his son Elijah Cardinal; his stepchildren, Ayla Delver (Owen) and Tarik Cardinal; his grandchildren, Phoenix, Blair, Noah and Hunter; his father Victor Redcrow; his sister Desiree Quinney; his aunts and uncles, Alex Redcrow (Sheila), Andrew Redcrow, Marvin, Henry Quinney, Elizabeth Redcrow, Evelyn Redcrow, Mavis Giant, Barbera Hunter, Alice Quinney and Lydia Quinney; his siblings' children, Chavion, Anna Leissa and Feather; his adoptive parents, Lorraine Cardinal (Peter) and Wilfred Cardinal Sr.; his siblings, Wilfred Cardinal Jr. (Rebecca), Leslie Cardinal, Blair Cardinal (Melody), Mike Gladue (Crissy), Heather, Bethany Cardinal, Tanis and Kaitlyn Redcrow; and his in-laws, Stuart, Earl, Samantha Delver and Violet Cardinal. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
A wake will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Old Onchaminahos School (810 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
