He was predeceased by: his daughter Jessie; his parents, John and Mary; and his brothers, Donald, Wilfred, Floyd, Jerry, Raymond and Dennis Carl.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert, Henry (Irene), Joe (Olive), Bruce (Marina), Arthur (Verna), Charlotte Large (Fabian) and Mary Whiskeyjack; his godson Austin; and his grandchildren, Shane Large-Shirt and Tamra Steinhauer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & grandchildren.
