She was predeceased by: her son Clinton M. Cardinal; her grandchildren, Shaun Cardinal, Britanny Cardinal and Jhevon Sparklingeyes; her mother Myrtle Houle (Wayne); and her grandfather Sam McGilvery.

She is survived by: the father of her children Daniel R. Cardinal; her close friend Larson Houle; her children, Bridgette Cardinal, Sonia Desjarlais, Twila Cardinal (Vic), Jacquline Cardinal (Kenny), Cordel Cardinal, Joanne Sparklingeyes (Devon), Louanna Cardinal, Harley, Wayne (Sharlene), Adam (Shawnee) and Merle (Valerie); and her siblings, Irene Steinhauer (Henry), Lorna Memnook (Leonard) and Howard Ferlin McGilvery.
