He was predeceased by : his parents, George Hunter and Annie Hunter; his uncle David; his siblings, Raymond and Noreen Henderson; his grandson Kristopher D.; and his brothers-in-law, Reg Campbell, James Huppie and Kenneth Stone.

He is survived by : his children, Greg (Vivian), Ann, Anthony (Brenda), Kathleen, Jeremy and Bob; his stepchildren, Janice, Beverly, Jocelyn and Barbara; and his siblings, Beatrice Campbell, Helen Huppie, Joanne Higgins (Dee), Robert Hunter (Janet), Emily Moosewah, Christina Cardinal, Irene Cardinal, Doris Cardinal, Valerie Cruz, Sam Cardinal and John Yewchin (Caroline). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren & 32 great-grandchildren.

COVID -19 really put a damper on social gatherings and it left him feeling lonely at times because of visiting restrictions.
