With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lorette Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her children, Bradley Gladue, Lance Gladue, Jayde Cardinal and Grace Cardinal; her grandchildren, Joseph and Nevaeh; her parents, Joseph Gladue and Gladys Gladue; her siblings, Marlene, Bruce, Verna, Joseph, Kathleen, Laura, William, Susie, Paul, Irvin, Mary Ann and Walter; and her grandparents, Mary Anne, John Cardinal, Amelia and Riel Gladue.
She is survived by: her sons, Shane Gladue and Tyson Cardinal; her grandchildren, Bradley, Noel, Grace, Carmen, Jayden, Cassie and Chelsea; the father of her children Harold Cardinal; her siblings, Donna Houle (Terry), Arthur Gladue (Brenda), Cheryl Gladue and Edna Gladue (Dwayne); her aunt Brenda Cardinal; and her son Neil Gladue. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A wake was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre (404a 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
