It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret McGilvery of Saddle Lake, Alberta, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund McGilvery and Agnes McGilvery; and her siblings, Caroline, Sylvia, Shirley, Julienne, Floyd, Norris, Cleophus, Vernon and Leonard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie McGilvery-Pasqua (Eric), Nicole Savoie and Ruth-Anne Adcock (John); her grandchildren, Caleb, Nola and Ethan Adcock; and her siblings, Louie, Pearl (Brady) and Eileen. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
A wake will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre (404a 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
