She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her children, Sherri and Daniel; her parents, Lloyd Poitras and Mary Poitras; and her siblings, Theresa Whiskeyjack, Marlene Cardinal and Homer Poitras.

She is survived by: her children, Janice (Ron Crain), Randy and Clayton (Lisa Quinney); her grandchildren, Cody, Amanda, Brett, Adrian, Donovan, Kyle, Samantha, Emily, Sydney, Isabelle, Justine, Emma, Nicole, Dylan, Lincoln, Layton and Darwin; and her siblings, Edward Poitras (Shelley), Gerald Poitras (Dorothy), Florence Large (Frank), Roland Poitras (Grace Mercier), Richard Poitras (Penny) and Adrian Poitras (Lorraine). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
