He is survived by: his sons, Lyle, Brent (Vanessa), Peter Jr., Evan and Lee; the mothers of children, Dorothy Shirt and Geraldine Cardinal; his siblings, Esther Crane, Nora Thom, Daniel Cardinal, Gloria Ward (Robert), Dennis, Delores of Saskatchewan and Marilyn Sunday; his stepsiblings, Roland, Leonard Jackson, Colleen Jackson and Muriel Beaudry; his adoptive mother Margaret Moosewah; his niece Carrie Half; his close friends, Gabriel Moses, Lazarre Whiskeyjack, Morris Whiskeyjack, Jordan Cardinal, Clayton Lightning, Lydia Half, Louis Moosewah and Jason Whiskeyjack; his pets, Max and Handsome; and his daughter Rose Newborn. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.
