Betty Scheidl Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Scheidl (Sangudo, Alberta), who passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Scheidl to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lou Henry and Irene Henry; her former husband Jerome; her siblings, Mona (Roy), Ella (Eric), Jessie (George) and Les (Fran); and her brothers-in-law, Art and Bob.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry (Kelly) and Michael (Janie); her grandchildren, Chase, Renée, Aimee, Carson and Jackson; her sisters, Norma, Ruth and Judy (Paul); and her sister-in-law Inga. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sangudo Community Hall (4920 50 St, Sangudo, AB T0E2A0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sangudo Sports Ground Society to assist with their beautification projects.
