Lawrence Preus Obituary

We announce the death of Lawrence Preus (Sangudo, Alberta), who passed away on August 9, 2026. Lawrence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Preus; his parents, Edward Preus and Ida Preus; his brothers, Arthur Preus, Ervin Preus, Harold Preus and Elmer Preus; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Dombroski and Elmer Boss.

He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Olthuis (Warren), Brian Preus (Fran) and Kelly Johnson (Shane); his grandchildren, Alexandria, Jordan, Brady and Brooke; his stepgrandchildren, Christina, Deanna and Doug; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brandon, Hailey, Brody, Penelope, Emmy and Rylee; his sisters, Evelyn Dombroski (Bill), Elsie Stiegelmar and Violet Boss (Elmer); and his sister-in-law Florence Preus (Harold). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
