It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Emanuel Hagel (Schuler, Alberta), who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Hagel and Victor Hagel; and his siblings, Frank, Tony, Len, Leo and Virginia Hagel.

He is survived by: his wife Arlene Hagel of Schuler, Alberta.; and his siblings, Ben Hagel (Elaine), Pat Hagel (Kim), Fran Chevrier, Marie Myerchin and Vicki Hagel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“Clarence arranged some years ago that a Gregorian series of Masses be offered for the repose of his soul. I only learned of Clarence's death on June 29, 2020 when told by Br. Meinrad, who knows the Hagel family. Due to a backlog of Masses, we had to wait several months before beginning the Gregorian for Clarence.
