He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Cahoon Traxel; and his former wife Kathleen "Kathy" Isoardi Traxel. He is survived by: his father John Traxel; his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Kirk; his children, Jenna Traxel (Jesh Gibson) and Stuart Kirk; and his siblings, Allen Traxel (Barb) and Carolyn Traxel Laurin. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
