As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barry MacMillan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Gillis; his sons, Maxwell and Westyn (Hazel); his grandchildren, Azrael Donaldson-Fediow and River Girard; and his sisters, Judy Cormier (Georges), Marilyn Johnston (Lorne) and Kathy Pion.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the South Cooking Lake Community Hall (100 S 2nd Ave, Sherwood Park, AB T8E1J1).
