He was predeceased by: his siblings, Linda Charchuk and Gary; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Hawryluk, Beverly Samoil and Lloyd Dziwenka.

He is survived by: his wife Lois; his daughters, Jerris Popik (Trevor) and Helena Hawryluk (Tim McMullen); his grandchildren, Madilyn, Teegan Popik, Jack and Luke McMullen; his siblings, William (Gloria), Robert, Gerald (Beatrice), Greg (Colleen), Chris, Ken (Connie), Lorne, Brenda Dziwenka and Sherry Dziwenka (Peter); and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Kroenig (Larry) and Ken Samoil.
