Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eleanor leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Basarabowich and Bella Basarabowich. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Lastiwka (Doug) and Cory Lastiwka (Colette); her grandchildren, Mark and Jeaninne; and her siblings, Eddie Basarabowich (Gloria) and Grace Stobbe (Elmer). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Kahwin (580041 Range Rd 162, Lamont County, AB T0B0C0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Heart and Stroke Foundation" or "Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.".
