He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Mary Spitzmacher; and his parents, Karl and Emma. He is survived by: his son Blair (Erica) of Edmonton; his granddaughter Lily; and his siblings, Hertha Zeilinger of Edmonton, Evelyn Kraus (Gordon) of St. Albert, Mildred Neumann of Vernon, BC and Erwin Spitzmacher of Edmonton.
