Emily Mader Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emily Mader (Sherwood Park, Alberta), born in Toronto, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 98. In the vast expanse of eternity, Emily shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Emily farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford; her son Clifford; and her son-in-law Michael Sturko. She is survived by: her children, Christel Wentzell (Syd), Nadine Sturko, Richard Mader, Dorothy Isted (Colin), Gary Mader (Marcela), Gail Butler (David) and Nancy Belanger (Roger). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Coronation Park Chapel (10980 142 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5N2P8).
