We announce the death of Jacob Jabs (Sherwood Park, Alberta), who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 94. Jacob will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jacob will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Jacob’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; his parents, Heinrich and Hulda; and his siblings, Gustav, Edward, Herman, Walter, Adele and Ingeborg.
He is survived by: his children, Charles and Charlotte; and his sister Emma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (52356 Range Rd 232, Sherwood Park, AB T8B1B8). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
