She was predeceased by: her grandson Arthur Lewis; her son-in-law Gary Downey; and her siblings, Jessie Ball (Stan), Ralph Fuller (Sheila), John Fuller (Betty), Nellie Redmond (Duncan) and Mary Holland (Alf).
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Downey, Roslyn Lewis (Ron), Mike Wass (Michele), Nigel Wass (Louise), Steve Wass (Lee Anne) and Tim Wass. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Donations in Joan's name are gratefully accepted to Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society of Alberta.
