He was predeceased by : his parents, Anna Gavinchuk and Nicholas Gavinchuk; and his siblings, Michael Gavinchuk, Peter Gavinchuk (Mary), Mary Radomsky (Steve), Olga Skuba (Michael) and Vickie Detmold (Bill).

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Oakes; and his daughter Sara Nicole.
