He is survived by: his mother Myrna Blackburn (Deschamp) of Halifax; his wife Lenora Blackburn; his daughters, Natalie Macphail, Melanie Macphail (Paul) of Edmonton and Emily Macphail (Ryan) of Halifax; his brother Sean Blackburn (Theresa) of Halifax; his siblings-in-law, Bob McDonald of Dartmouth, Bill McDonald of Ottawa and Barb Day (John) of Porters; and his mother-in-law Mary McDonald of Dartmouth.
