He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ibach and Margaret Ibach; his siblings, Justina, Albert, Jerome, Teresa and Alma; and his in-laws, Bill Neigel, Alex Leeb, Frances Ibach, Claire Ibach, Ken Bachmeier and Ron Maloney.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Greg (Roxane), Sheldon (Trish), Trevor (Susan) and Celeste (Marcel Wattel); his grandchildren, Meagan, Sarah (Dallas Baker), Jonathan (Harmony Kiziak), Benjamin, Samantha, Katherine, Connor (Cheyenne Bates) and Carter; and his family, Rosa Marie, Gwen, George, Shirley, Ron Ibach (Linda), Helen Marshall (Doug), Bernadette, Elizabeth Caron (Gilles), Cabrini Hurst (Terry), Anne Helfrich (Bill), Clarence Ibach (Marie) and Colette Hall (Don). He is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (52356 Range Rd 232, Sherwood Park, AB T8B1B8). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish (13 Brower Dr, Sherwood Park, AB T8H1Y7).
