With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Louise (Bent) Joy (Sherwood Park, Alberta), born in North Vancouver, British Columbia, who passed away on February 28, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Karen Louise shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Karen Louise farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Joy. She is survived by: her daughter Robin Machushyk (Marty); her grandchildren, David and Kendall; her son Adam Joy (Evelyn); and her grandson Seth.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Park Place Funeral Home (51 Broadway Blvd, Sherwood Park, AB T8H2C1).
