Lloyd Ditmars Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd Ditmars (Sherwood Park, Alberta), who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Lloyd departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lloyd. Though Lloyd may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ditmars and Kathleen Allen. He is survived by: his children, Randene and Lloyd Van Ditmars. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Stollery Children's Hospital, all of which were near and dear to Lloyd's heart.
