He was predeceased by : his parents, Mike Medwid and Ann Medwid; his siblings, Maxine (Al Garant), Larry (Gail) and Paul Shelemey; and also, Roman, Anne Shelemey, Mary (Bob Groat) and Ed Kozak.

He is survived by : his brother Roger Medwid; and his sisters-in-law, Lynn Shelemey (Allen Quesnel) and Darline Shelemey (Iftody). He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
