He was predeceased by: his significant other Mary; and his parents, Doris Hicks and Percy Hicks. He is survived by: his sister Sheila; his children, David (Rita), Allison (Graham) and Heather; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Alex, Blaire, Cameron, Cole, Lindsay, Erin and Graham; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Ella, Nathalie, Haley, Austin, Julian, Amelia, Isaac and Logan.
He spent his final years at Summerwood Retirement Residence, where he formed close bonds with staff and especially with Jean, a cherished companion during the COVID years.
