It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Polson (Sherwood Park, Alberta), born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Polson; and her parents, Julia Millar and Sinclair Millar. She is survived by: her children, Brenda MacDonald, Rob Polson (Mike Swann), Shannon Britton (Grant) and Darren Polson (Melissa); her grandchildren, Jonathon, Jacklyn, Zachery (Artimis), Sara, Liam, Evan and Haiden; and her siblings, Patricia Millar, Betty Dixon (Doug), Sheila Cote (Goldie), George Millar (Olga), Gord Millar (Rose) and Brian Kelly (Michelle). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (52356 Range Rd 232, Sherwood Park, AB T8B1B8).
