It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Kiefer Swenson (Sherwood Park, Alberta), born in Canwood, Saskatchewan, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Alice; his parents, Samuel Swenson and Catherine Swenson; his sisters, Debby Swenson and Alvina Conlin; and his in-laws, Ben, Anne Lofstrom and Art Scott.

He is survived by : his daughters, Shelley Becker (Rick) and Terri Tymchak (Don); his grandchildren, David Becker, Stacie Becker, Samantha Kiesman (Jordan) and Ami Tymchak; his great grandchildren, Lane and Bryn; and his siblings-in-law, Grant Conlin of Saskatoon and Irene Scott of Medicine Hat. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
