He was predeceased by : his brother Joseph. He is survived by : his wife Sheila; his children, Tad, Mitchel (Sharla), Jason (Julie) and Melanie (Kelly); his grandchildren, Tyler, Jesse, Shannon, Stephen, Jarret (Kalista), Lindsay, Emma, Connor, Maggie and Aidan; and his siblings, Robert (Betty), Joyce and Dianne (Ernie).

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Celestin Catholic Church (208 3 Ave NW, Slave Lake, AB T0G2A1).
