He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Magdelena; and his wife Liz. He is survived by: his children, Joe, Vladimir (Leigh-ann) and Margaret (Peter); his grandchildren, Cassandra (Travis), Ashleigh (Chris) and Michael (Katie); his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Brinley; and his siblings, Olga and Roman (Dawn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Ascension Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church (3 White Earth St, Smoky Lake, AB T0A3C0).
