She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Salmon and Della Mae Salmon; her husband Dale Martin Sr.; and her siblings, Jessalyn Anderson (Woody), Jean Lemiski, Maxine Deringer and James "Jimmy" Salmon.
She is survived by: her uncle Ben; her children, Elizabeth Jong (Gordon), Dale Martin Jr. (Colleen) and Catherine Weersink (Brian); her grandchildren, Terrah Jong, Christopher Jong (Carla), Will Martin, Jack Martin, Adam Weersink (Rhiece), Austin Weersink (Amanda) and Arik Weersink (Jaida Baber); her great grandchildren, Grayson, Aubrey Jong and Oliver Weersink; and also Derek.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel (610 4th St S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4P3). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church (2405 12 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB T1K0P4).
For those who wish, memorial donations in Kay's name may be made to the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, for the Cardiac Centre of Excellence.
