He was predeceased by : his parents, Rose Labate and John Labate; and his brother Donald Labate (Marie). He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his children, Rob and Lisa Nicholetts (Jason); his grandson Brayden; his daughter Marissa Portelance (David); his grandchildren, Sophia and Alex; his siblings, Donna Fortes (Larry) and Perry Labate (Debbie); his foster sister Suzanne Weir (Kevin); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Kennelly and Stephen Fenton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
