He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Inge; his children, Eric, Ralph and Yvonne; his children-in-law, Charlene and Richard; his grandchildren, Bianca, Karly, Jessica, Nikolai, Dylan and Melanie; his great grandchildren, Brody and Ezekiel; and his sisters, Hella, Lilo and Marianne.
His contributions to the craft left a lasting impression on both the industry and the many apprentices who had the privilege to learn under his guidance.
