He is survived by: his wife Diane MacDonald; his daughter Melanie Basse (Mike); his grandchildren, Brianna Turvey, Cole Stephenson and Paul Stephenson; his stepgrandchildren, Mykelti Hayward and Colton Hayward; and his siblings, Darrell MacDonald (Deniese), Cheryl Botton (Brian) and Lynn Carter (Gary).

Memorial tributes in memory of Kerry may be sent to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
