It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephania Hawiuk (St Paul, Alberta), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George; her parents, John Farus and Anne Farus; and her siblings, Mary Petash, Helen Toffan, Lena Zacharuk, Nellie Horbul, Jenny Farris, Joe, Alex, Paul, Walter, Max and Sid.
She is survived by: her sister Olga Johnson; her children, Susan Zapesocki (Russel) and Richard (Jeannine); her grandchildren, Douglas Zapesocki (Tammy), Bryan Zapesocki (Katie), Pamela Carter (Shayne), Zachary (Samantha) and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Sloane Zapesocki, Lennon Zapesocki, Keaton Carter and Kenna Carter. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
