Mary Kachur Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Kachur (Star, Alberta), who passed away on April 13, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wasyl Kachur (Bill); her parents, John Pullishy and Annie Pullishy; and her siblings, Mike, Dora, Lena, Jim, Joe, Nick, Adam, Rose and Helen.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Kachur and Roseanne Berube; her grandchildren, Sandra Van Hecke (Jeff), Patrick Kachur, Michelle Berube (Mario Savoie), Matthew Kachur (Katie) and Daniel Kachur (Charissa); her sister Eileen Purschke; and her sister-in-law Ann Wachowicz. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made to Star Peno Church or the Alberta Cancer foundation in lieu of flowers.
