We bid farewell to Matt Prokopiw (Star, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 7, 2025. Matt touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Marion; his son Dale; and his parents, John and Annie. He is survived by: his children, Della (Maurice), Daryld (Colleen) and Dawn (Miles); his grandchildren, Melissa, Brett, Jared (Amanda), Jonathan (Andrea), Amber (Stuart) and Jesse (Ode); and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Charlie, Hailey, Harper, Bell and Mehta.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church (564080a Range Rd 193, Star, AB T0B2R0).
