He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard and Hilda. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Lori Cavanagh (Travis) and Darren Knopke (Lisa); his grandchildren, Avery, Claire, Hayden and Isla; his brothers, Harold Knopke (Shirley) and Ernie Knopke (Hilda); and his sisters-in-law, Joanann Bowen (Frank) and Sharon Allen (Bruce).
