She is survived by: her husband Ed Hornby; her aunt Effie Bullis; her brother Dave Jones; her sibling's children, Carrie Lynn Christianson (Jed), Megan Halko (Tyler), Blair Hornby (Stephanie), David Jones and Brian Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Carrie Hornby and Clifford Hornby. She is also survived by three great-nieces and a great-nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:50 PM at the Ponoka Funeral Home (5115 50 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Those wishing to honour Janet's memory, in keeping with her love of animals, would do so best with a small donation to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
