He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan and Emily; his granddaughter Tamara; his son-in-law Jim; and his siblings, Ross (Joyce), Ernie, George (Lena) and Lois (Elsely).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Sandra Gail Kyle, Carol Ann Burkholder, Laura Fay Garn and Donald Ross Hosack; his grandchildren, Robert "RJ" (Jamie), Stacy (Vinay), Jesse, Kristeen (Matt) and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Harmony, Summer, Vienna, Mya, Havilah, Forrest, Theo, Austin, Cody and Andrew; and his sister-in-law Audrey. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Stony Plain United Church (5012 51 Ave, Stony Plain, AB T7Z1C2).
