Shakeer will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Shakeer by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Shakeer is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Shakeer’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his father Husein Yusufali Bhimji. He is survived by: his mother Yasmim Bhimji Olstad; his wife Melanie Dawn Siklenka; and his pets, Manny and Smokey. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the McCaw Funeral Chapel (5101 50 St, Lloydminster, AB T9V 0M2).
