With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Marie Schneider (Strathmore, Alberta), born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, who passed away on February 22, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin; her son Keith; her granddaughter Stacey; and her siblings, Nick, Eva, Tillie, Alice, Rose, Edward and Pearl.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alex (Irene), Andy (Esther) and Josie; her children, Lyle Schneider (Sandy) and Denise Verweire (Cordell); her daughter-in-law Gwen Schneider; and her grandchildren, Scott (Elizabeth), Chase (Stella), Simon (Lauren), Amanda (Andrew) and Krystal (Brent). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wheatland Funeral Home (202 Lakeside Blvd, Strathmore, AB T1P1A1).
