He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Manybears and Winston Yellow Sun; his grandparents, Frank, John and Rose-Alma Yellow Sun; his brothers, James, Morris and Warren Cooper Manybears; his nieces, Crissann Wright and Alexis White; and his adoptive parents, Ronald Saxton and Patricia McMillin Wixom.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Payne (Alexis), Crystal Payne and Charles Jr.; his grandchildren, Kenyelle, Kyslen Beasley, Caleah and Camori Payne; the mother of his children Linda Nelson; his close friends, Sylvia Hartis, Victor Parke and Saxton; his brother-in-law Jack Rowe; Rudy Gutierrez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Charles moved back to Canada during the pandemic and created special bonds enjoying special holiday celebrations.
